If you live in the Southern California area and have never been to a Life Rolls On event you definitely need to sign up to volunteer. There are few things more rewarding then taking disabled children and adults out on adaptive surfboards, meeting some incredible friends, seeing the bond between Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with their patients the the families...it is awesome! Plus this is one of the best ways to share a fun hands on project with fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, neighbors, friends and family members. On the sand and in the water there are so many ways you can give of your time and support the Life Rolls On Foundation.

Meet some of the most amazing Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists from around San Diego County, medical professionals, volunteers through the surfing community and Southern California. You must register on the Surfers Unite team as well as the Life Rolls On Foundation website to participate and the event is open to all. Minors will need a parent/guardian signature on all waivers.
Don't miss what has become one of the most fun service events year after year! Registration will open on the LRO site by August 1st.

To catch 100 waves in a single day is a bit like running a marathon. It is physically demanding and you have to be well conditioned and a little nuts...Ha, Ha! The best part of this event is the amazing people you meet and raising funds for an incredible non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring at risk teenage boys growing up without a positive male role model in their lives. Boys to Men Mentoring serves hundreds of Middle School and High School teenage boys weekly through their programs aimed to prevent teenage boys from getting involved in gang violence, drugs and provide a positive role model to increase High School graduation and career guidance. This is a fantastic group of men truly making a difference in the lives of others and we are proud too be a part of it. Last year we collectively raised more than $349k for Boys to Men Mentoring Foundation. We will be looking for donors, sponsors and an army of volunteers to put this event on in the Fall of 2018. Come and be a part of it.
